Do you want to help create a fairer labor market? We are now looking for an engaged union advisor to join our knowledgeable team in Stockholm. As an advisor with us, you will have the chance to support and guide our members in their working lives, covering everything from salary and working hours to insurance, termination, and working conditions.
The position is permanent, and a probationary period may apply.
As a union advisor, you are expected to:
- Be the first aid and provide qualified advice to our members and elected representatives in labor law matters
- Answer questions from members, employers, and authorities via phone and email
- Handle a wide range of labor law cases
- Be a clear ambassador for Handels and our values
- Work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues to find the best solutions for our members
- Quickly grasp and interpret labor law legislation and collective agreements
- Convey information and labor law concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- Be able to handle emotional situations and meet high expectations from our members in a professional manner
Who are you?
- You have experience in union work, elected representative assignments, or education in law, political science, human resources, or another equivalent field
- You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are an advantage
- You are pedagogical and have an easy time adapting your communication to the recipient
- You are resilient, factual, and professional in dialogue with others
- You have an interest in social issues and are open to changes in the form of legal amendments, case law, and new collective agreements
- You gain energy from listening, building trust, and helping people move forward in conversations
What we offer:

We offer a fixed monthly salary of 33,000 SEK. If you have previous experience as a union advisor, the salary may be higher, in accordance with our salary model.
